Stricter rules for Ohio teen drivers effective July 1, 2015

Ohio will enact new rules for teen drivers in July; a move they hope will prevent fatal crashes and prevent injuries.

As published on the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles site, drivers under 18 and within the first 12 months of their probationary license period can not:

* Drive between midnight and 6am (certain exemptions apply)
*Can not have more than one non-family member in the vehicle
*All passengers must use safety belts
*NO use of any mobile communication device while driving
